A forever sister of mine Kenya has inspired me to venture into the fields of sunflowers. I have my own personal story of overcoming sunflowers. I have always loved them but my first marriage was full of sunflowers and I carried them in my wedding and my girls were dressed in sunflower gowns. Through the years I have overcame my hesitance to get close to sunflowers again. These black eyed Susan’s were the perfect gift for today this last weekend of Spring and my upcoming new home and engagement. I took Certified Peer Specialist training with Kenya and have always been drawn to her and in great admiration of her love of life and herself. She is a light in the dark. Thank you Kenya! Incorporating sunflowers and dream catcher’s back into my life a little at a time.
